Is it really free? What's the catch?
It is completely free for six months, and the plugin remains yours under an MIT license no matter what happens after that. To put that in perspective, the exact same build at our published rate is $1,500 a month for five languages. Our catch is that we are trading revenue for the one thing we can't buy: developers stress-testing a real, published API and telling us exactly where our system breaks so we can improve it.
We already ship an MCP server. Why do we need this?
They do different jobs. An MCP server allows an agent to call your API at runtime. A Context Plugin is designed for the agent writing the integration in the first place. That code generation happens once, before anything ever connects, and it produces the code your customer will maintain for years. In our test runs, an API with a documentation MCP averaged a score of 77. The plugin scored 96. You should run both.
We generate our own SDKs. Does this replace them?
Only if you want it to. Our plugin is generated alongside a set of SDKs, so currently we can't point the agent at packages you already publish. Your existing pipeline keeps running without interruption, and it is entirely your call whether you promote our SDKs or stick with your own. If bringing your own SDK is a dealbreaker, mention it on our call and we will give you a straight answer on whether that capability is coming.
Who maintains it after the six months?
For the first six months we regenerate it every time your spec moves, and we fix any broken SDKs. After the pilot ends you can keep us on at the discounted founding rate, or simply bring it in-house. Because it rebuilds directly from your spec and carries an MIT license, you are never locked into us. The one thing we absolutely won't do is walk away and leave a stale, broken plugin published under your brand's name.
What if it doesn't work on our API?
You keep the plugin, you keep the SDKs, and we still publish the results. We want to publish real-world data, not just the runs that made us look good. Frankly, an API already scoring in the nineties with AI agents has less to gain from this than one scoring in the seventies. Evaluating that baseline is exactly what our first call is for.
